Saturday 10th May 2008

Hot Sunny day, Slight Easterly breeze. 3 Starry smooth hounds,2 smooth hounds and several dog fish. Lost several fish. Lots of bites!!

Friday 9th May 2008

Several fish about, all on Squid. No Tope so far. 1 nice Skate @ 6lb and a couple returned.

Thursday 8th May 2008

Lots of small fish about, All taking squid. 1x10lb Skate returned alive and well. several dog fish and smooth hounds. rough day, nice and warm and Sunny but strong Easterly wind.

Tuesday 6th May 2008

North of wind farm, Strong Easterly wind, A few bites but no Tope or Skate all day. Will try Squid again next trip and see if we catch again.

Sunday 4th May 2008

Calm and warm at first, No Tope about so far. 2 nice Skate from North of the wind farm. A few dos fish,Smooth hounds and whiting about. South Easterly strong breeze in the afternoon. Good Norfolk sea fishing day.

Thursday 24th April 2008

First trip of the Season. Lots of fish about, 4 Skate (biggest 10lb) 12 dog fish,6 starry smooth hounds,1 small Cod and 2 Common Smooth hounds.

18 miles out.

Squid worked well as did Mackerel but we had fresh big lug and they did not catch a thing all day.

Brilliant again, About 60 Cod kept, Several small ones returned. (E Barnard)

Hurray!! The Spring run has begun. 50 nice cod kept and several returned and lots of whiting about. ( E Barnard )

Strong South Westerly wind, Had to fish off Scroby for some shelter and out of the tide as very big tides. Lots of bites and some really small fish.
